Get to Know Us!

The start of the SEED Initiative started almost 10 years ago when we were placed in a position as the youth pastors for our local church. We started to experience a trend in youth and young adults connecting to us like a big sister and big brother. The youth felt that we were safe, relatable, and compassionate when it came to their current needs and future desires.

Our youth ministry grew over the years. We made lots of impact with helping the youth as they were cultivating their relationship with God. Although they we were making impact we saw a gap in our ability to really help with complex issues so we both furthered our education in the social service field.

Now, we both can proudly say we have earned our Master degrees in the field of counseling and social work. This has enlarged our ability to skillfully work with youth, young adults, and families in a more complex context.

The need for youth and family services is apparent. We desire to partner with community leaders, churches, organizations, and businesses as a healthy resource for youth and families. Our focus is to partner with others to enhance a healthy community. We hope to see a decrease in youth depression, anxiety, and youth suicidal attempts through our preventive programs and connections. We believe our organization will play a huge part of our future generation success as we create innovative programs to help youth and families thrive within their own social emotional lens, their communities, and families.

As we lead this initiative it will take committed partnership, grace, prayer, continued education, training, volunteers, skilled employees, and financial resources. Our programs are evidence and faith based. We believe that that God should be the foundation of how we build this organization. We are Christ led, skilled, and educated in our approaches for the youth focused programs.

Over the next 5 years we hope to see at least 500 youth benefit from The SEED programs. We want our community to know that we are available as a direct or indirect support to youth and families. We hope you can help us make an impact in our community!
